Flomax Compression Inc. is a growing company working in the Bakken Field on oil and gas production equipment, mainly gas compressors, and gas generators. Along with being the service provider for multiple product lines that support the gas and oil Industry, we also supply parts and materials to support them.
Due to growth, we are currently looking to hire Apprentice Mechanics/Laborers for our Williston location.
Apprentice must be able to assist lead mechanic with:
- Routine inspections, maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment, including but not limited to natural gas engines, compressors, generators, production pumps, and instrument air compressors.
- Carrying out necessary repairs and conducting more complex repairs to ensure proper functioning.
- Troubleshooting and analyzing issues reported by operators, and providing effect solutions to address the problems.
- Respond promptly to customer needs in a positive, supportive and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed.
- Communicate job progress to supervisor and customer as needed.
- Complete service reports, order parts and maintain clear customer records.
- Field Technicians will be going out to service calls.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of engine components, pneumatic, electrical systems.
- Previous experience working on equipment is a plus but not required.
- Positive attitude and desire to provide outstanding customer service.
- Computer, written and verbal communication skills.
