Position Summary
The Guest Service Agent is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service while managing front desk operations. This role plays a key part in creating positive first impressions, ensuring smooth arrivals and departures, and supporting an outstanding overall guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
- Complete guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently
- Manage room reservations, modifications, and cancellations
- Answer phone calls using proper telephone etiquette and Marriott brand standards
- Respond promptly to guest requests, questions, and concerns
- Process payments and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping and maintenance to support guest needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area
- Promote Marriott Bonvoy membership and hotel amenities
- Assist with guest service recovery and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner
- Follow all hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures
- Support additional duties as assigned by hotel leadership
Qualifications
- Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred
- Marriott experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Comfortable using computers and hotel operating systems
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
