Job Summary
We are hiring a Final Assembly Operator to complete the final assembly of electricity transformers. You will work across various stations to install components, anchor core assemblies, and ensure units meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly: Attach components (leads, bushings, switches) to transformer tanks and secure core/coil assemblies.
- Quality & Testing: Run leak, fluid, and temperature checks; rework nonconforming parts.
- Equipment: Safely use hand tools, vacuum systems, and overhead cranes.
- Operations: Follow written instructions (BOMs, schedules) and meet daily production targets.
Requirements
- Experience: Relevant experience preferred; basic math and reading skills required. No high school diploma required.
- Physical: Lift up to 40 lbs; stand, bend, and walk for long periods.
- Environment: Ability to work in a hot, loud environment wearing full PPE (steel toes, metatarsal guards, safety glasses, earplugs, and sleeves).
Pay: From $23.75 per hour
