Job Overview
Triple River Construction is hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for the West Fork Teanaway River Floodplain Restoration Project near Cle Elum, WA (Kittitas County). The ideal candidate is proficient operating bulldozers, excavators, loaders, off-road haul trucks, graders, and other heavy equipment used in heavy-civil and river restoration construction.
Pay
This is a public works project subject to Washington State prevailing wage (Kittitas County). Pay of $88.60 to $90.09 per hour is the total prevailing wage package (wage plus fringe) and varies by equipment classification operated.
Duties
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment including bulldozer, excavator, loader, haul truck, and grader
- Safely transport materials within construction sites
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure functionality
- Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
Requirements
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly in a construction setting
- Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for equipment operation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Preference given to operators with Topcon GPS machine control experience
Pay: $88.60 - $90.09 per hour
