Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math, and social skills.
- Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate learning technology and hands-on activities to enhance student participation.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, assessment strategies, and standardized testing preparations.
- Mentor and support students’ social-emotional growth while fostering a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
- Work closely with parents and guardians to communicate student progress, behavioral concerns, or developmental milestones.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and developmental progress in compliance with education administration standards.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with young children in early childhood or preschool settings is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in classroom management, lesson planning, and curriculum development.
- Experience working with children with autism or other special needs is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of educational philosophies such as private school or early intervention programs is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, parents, and students’ support teams.
