In this role, you will utilize your mechanical expertise and technical proficiency to diagnose, repair, and optimize a wide range of vehicle systems. Whether working on powertrains, electrical systems, or suspension components, you'll ensure each vehicle meets safety and performance standards while providing outstanding customer service.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical wiring, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on powertrain components, vehicle suspension systems, transmissions, and diesel engines to restore optimal performance.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems efficiently.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to execute repairs with precision.
- Execute wheel alignments and vehicle suspension system repairs to ensure proper handling and safety standards.
- Repair and maintain automotive electrical systems, including sensors, wiring harnesses, and electronic modules.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Experience
- Proven experience or service technician experience working with a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and the use of automotive diagnostic tools.
- Hands-on experience with powertrain repairs, vehicle transmission system repairs, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience in vehicle systems such as electrical wiring diagrams interpretation and diesel engine repairs.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software for accurate job costing.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently on all vehicles
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
