Skilled Nursing Facility Seeking a Full Time Registered Dietitian

As a Dietitian, you will play a critical role in ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents are met and that they receive appropriate care based on their individual health conditions and dietary requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Nutrition Assessment: Evaluate the nutritional needs of residents through assessments and collaborate with healthcare providers to develop personalized dietary plans.
Meal Planning: Develop and implement nutritious, balanced meal plans tailored to individual medical needs, preferences, and dietary restrictions.
Education and Support: Educate residents, families, and staff about the importance of nutrition in maintaining health and preventing disease.
Dietary Monitoring: Monitor residents' nutritional intake and make adjustments as necessary, ensuring their ongoing health and comfort.
Collaborative Care: Work with other healthcare professionals to address residents' overall health needs, adjusting dietary plans as part of an interdisciplinary care approach.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all meal planning and dietary services comply with state and federal regulations. Keep accurate records of all nutrition-related care.
Staff Training: Provide training and support to kitchen staff and others in the facility to ensure proper food preparation and dietary compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
Current Registered Dietitian (RD) certification required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in dietary counseling, with experience in long-term care or healthcare facilities preferred.
Strong communication skills and ability to educate others effectively.
Ability to work independently while collaborating as part of an interdisciplinary team.
