Overview
The New Car Prep Department plays a crucial role in ensuring that all vehicles are presented in pristine condition for our customers. This position involves a variety of tasks focused on cleaning, detailing, and preparing new cars for delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for customer service, ensuring that every vehicle meets our high standards before it reaches the customer.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough car washes and detailing to enhance the appearance of new vehicles.
- Conduct buffing and polishing of vehicle surfaces to remove imperfections.
- Clean both the interior and exterior of vehicles, ensuring all surfaces are spotless.
- Assist with window tinting as needed, following company guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the prep area to ensure a safe working environment.
- Drive vehicles as necessary for cleaning and preparation purposes.
- Utilize janitorial skills to keep the workspace tidy and well-maintained.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with team members and customers.
- Experience in car washing and detailing techniques.
- Proficiency in buffing and polishing methods for vehicle surfaces.
- Familiarity with custodial or janitorial practices to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Ability to drive various types of vehicles safely and responsibly.
