We are a boutique law firm dedicated exclusively to catastrophic personal injury litigation and trial. We take on a select number of high-stakes cases and pour real resources into each one, fighting for clients whose lives have been permanently altered by serious injury or death of a family member. Our team is small, tight-knit, and deeply invested in both our clients' outcomes and each other's growth — and we're looking to add an attorney who wants to build a career as a trial lawyer with immediate second chair experience.
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney with a desire to learn to litigate and try catastrophic injury cases. The role is entirely remote (except for in-person appearances - like trial) so being task oriented is a must. In this role, you will work along side the managing attorney, learning to litigate and try cases the right way with support and guidance.
Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload of catastrophic and serious personal injury matters under the guidance of senior attorneys
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal briefs
- Take and defend depositions
- Conduct legal research and help develop case strategy
- Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and the courts
- Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, hearings, and trials
- Progressively take on greater trial responsibility as your skills develop
Skills
- **0–5 years of litigation experience** (new admittees are welcome to apply)
- Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar
- A genuine desire to learn how to try cases and grow into a trial attorney
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Excellent judgment, work ethic, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote environment
- Personal injury experience is a plus, but not required — we will train the right person
- Compassion and professionalism when working with clients navigating difficult circumstances

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
