Salary: $22-25/hr based on experience and skillset.
Hours: This listing is for a full time position (30-36 hours), but we would consider a part time position for the right candidate. The hospital is open Monday-Friday. No weekend hours required!

Duties
- Assist veterinary staff during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Handle dogs and cats with a range of temperaments safely and compassionately.
- Knowledge of exotics handling, including birds, reptiles and small mammals, is a plus.
- Support animal husbandry tasks such as feeding, cleaning enclosures, and ensuring proper animal welfare standards are maintained.
- Perform laboratory procedures including sample collection, record keeping, and basic testing to aid in diagnosis.
- Administer medications and injections under supervision while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records, update treatment logs, and document procedures following clinic standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding pet care instructions, appointment scheduling, and general inquiries.
- Keep our clinic clean, stocked, well-organized, and ready to welcome patients!
Requirements
- Prior veterinary clinic experience is a must, with a strong preference for those who are skilled in dentistry including scaling, polishing, and dental radiography.
- Familiarity with animal handling is essential.
- Experience with medication administration, IV catheterization, aseptic technique, and anesthesia monitoring.
- Excellent client communication skills to provide compassionate support and education to pet owners.
