OKG Jewelers is seeking a creative, trend-focused Part-Time Jewelry Content Creator & UGC Specialist to create engaging social media content for our jewelry brand.
We are looking for someone who does more than simply record products. The ideal candidate should bring fresh ideas, understand current Instagram and TikTok trends, and know how to create authentic UGC-style videos that feel natural, entertaining, and relatable.
This is an in-person position at our Little Neck jewelry store. The creator will film jewelry, develop original concepts, appear in content when needed, and produce Reels, Stories, TikToks, product videos, and behind-the-scenes content.
Responsibilities
- Develop fresh and original content ideas for OKG Jewelers.
- Research current Instagram, TikTok, fashion, beauty, and jewelry trends.
- Create authentic UGC-style videos that showcase jewelry naturally.
- Film and photograph engagement rings, custom jewelry, bracelets, earrings, and new arrivals.
- Create Instagram Reels, TikToks, Stories, product demonstrations, and educational videos.
- Write strong hooks, short scripts, captions, and video concepts.
- Create content such as styling videos, gift guides, unboxings, customer scenarios, jewelry comparisons, and behind-the-scenes clips.
- Appear on camera and speak comfortably when the content requires it.
- Direct employees or models who may appear in videos.
- Edit short-form videos using CapCut, Canva, Adobe, or similar programs.
- Follow current audio, editing, storytelling, and visual trends.
- Maintain a consistent and upscale brand image.
- Help organize a content calendar and plan upcoming posts, promotions, and events.
- Review content performance and suggest new ideas based on engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience creating short-form social media content.
- Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, TikTok, Stories, and UGC-style content.
- Creative and able to bring original ideas without being given every concept.
- Comfortable filming, directing, and editing videos.
- Comfortable appearing and speaking on camera.
- Familiarity with current social media, jewelry, fashion, and lifestyle trends.
- Experience using CapCut, Canva, Adobe, or similar editing tools.
- Strong attention to lighting, presentation, angles, and visual details.
- Dependable, organized, and able to meet content deadlines.
- Available to work in person at our Little Neck location.
- Must provide a portfolio or examples of content personally created.
Preferred Qualifications
- Jewelry, fashion, beauty, luxury, or lifestyle content experience.
- Experience producing UGC for brands.
- Product photography or videography experience.
- Knowledge of social media analytics and content performance.
- Experience developing content calendars and campaign ideas.
