Job Title: Project Administrator – Construction
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Project Administrator to support two Construction Project Managers and our Office Manager in delivering successful projects. This position plays a key role in keeping our projects organized, on schedule, and well‑documented.
Reporting Structure
Reports to: Construction Project Managers (2)
Daily support and functional supervision: Office Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Project Managers with project setup, tracking, and close‑out, including schedules, budgets, and project files. Maintain and organize project documentation such as contracts, change orders, permits, drawings, and meeting notes. Coordinate communication between Project Managers, field teams, subcontractors, and clients, including scheduling meetings and distributing updates. Support the Office Manager with day‑to‑day administrative tasks related to projects, including data entry, file management, and basic bookkeeping for project expenses. Process and track invoices, purchase orders, and other project financial documents in alignment with company procedures. Update project logs and reports so Project Managers have accurate, current information for decision‑making.
Qualifications
- Experience in construction or a related industry is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable supporting multiple managers and prioritizing tasks from more than one project at a time.
- Proficiency with standard office software (email, spreadsheets, document management).
- Clear communication skills and a professional, service‑oriented attitude.
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
