GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Teacher Coach and Inclusion Coordinator supports classroom staff working with infants and toddlers by providing ongoing coaching, modeling, and feedback to enhance teaching practices and promote high-quality care. Be the liaison between Early Intervention Staff and Early Head Start Staff. Ensures inclusive practices are implemented effectively, helping staff support children with diverse needs and developmental differences. The Coordinator collaborates with families, therapists, and teaching teams to create supportive, individualized strategies for all learners.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Hold a bachelor’s or advanced degree in early childhood education; OR a bachelor’s or advanced degree in any field and coursework equivalent to a major relating to early childhood education, with experience teaching infants and toddlers;
- ODE licensure preferred
- Knowledge of infant and toddler development, early childhood curriculum and developmentally appropriate practices.
- Willingness/ability to work as a team member.
- Evidence of strong communication, organization and community collaboration skills.
- History of good job attendance.
- Demonstrate computer usage skills.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal skills.
- Good public relation skills.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license and access to personal vehicle.
- Must pass criminal background checks, be free from communicable disease.
