Kenwood Country Club is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join the team. Our large culinary operation offers several food and beverage outlets providing diverse menus for our private membership. Our operation includes a formal dining room offerings seasonal menus with weekly specials, a highly engaged banquet department, sushi kitchen and a pool complex for concession, grab and go, pool side dining and pizza kitchen. With our expanding culinary team, we strive to serve high-quality offerings that are mindful to our membership and culinary growth.
Job description
- The Sous Chef is responsible for supporting the Chef De Cuisine and Executive Chef in leading a team of culinary students and professionals.
- Must focus on delivering high quality, properly prepared food with dedication to food safety.
- The Sous Chef contributes to building the team by teaching and developing skills and standards that are set by culinary leadership.
- Will assisting with menu development, creative weekly specials, and staff education. Menus change seasonally.
Job requirements
- Experience of 3-5 years in professional kitchens with previous leadership role.
- Proven ability to develop a team
- Strong passion for culinary excellence with great food knowledge
- Must have flexibility in scheduling
- Must pass background check
