Director of Maintenance
Join Founders Care & Rehabilitation, a leading healthcare organization, as we seek a skilled and dedicated Director of Maintenance to lead our facilities operations in Perrysburg, OH!
As a Director of Maintenance, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, providing a safe and efficient environment for our patients, residents, and staff. In this full-time position, you will oversee all aspects of maintenance, janitorial services, and grounds keeping, collaborating with various departments to achieve our organization's goals.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance of building systems, equipment, and facilities
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and protocols to ensure optimal facility operations
- Direct and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and support staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as Housekeeping, Dietary, and Nursing, to ensure seamless operations
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify and address potential issues, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and repair projects, ensuring efficient use of resources
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and customer service, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in healthcare or hospitality
- Strong understanding of maintenance operations, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines
