Electronics Assembler III – 1st Shift and 2nd Shift
Shift: 4AM - 1:30PM or 3:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Pay Rate: $25.96-$27.26/hr
Experience: 3+ years (LRU Assembly experience preferred)
Job Summary:
Under general supervision, performs electronic and mechanical assembly of components, assemblies, and subassemblies. Responsibilities include wiring, cable harnessing, component installation, hand soldering, and assembly of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble electronic and mechanical components, assemblies, and subassemblies.
- Perform wiring, cable harnessing, hand soldering, and component installation.
- Assemble cables, harnesses, chassis, printed circuit boards (PCBs), panels, LRUs, batteries, and servo motors.
- Disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble assemblies as required.
- Use hand tools and torque wrenches while maintaining specified tolerances.
- Verify quality and compliance with established procedures.
- Assist with training lower-level assemblers as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of electronics and/or mechanical assembly experience.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and wire lists.
- Experience with soldering and compression connection tools.
- Proficiency with hand tools and torque wrenches.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to distinguish colors.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Willingness to work extended hours as required.
Pay: $25.96 - $27.26 per hour
