In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of building systems and facilities equipment, ensuring that residents enjoy a comfortable and well-maintained living environment. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and building interior elements to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, plumbing systems, HVAC units, and mechanical components using schematics, hand tools, and testing devices such as ohmmeters.
- Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and other maintenance tasks to uphold the aesthetic and structural integrity of the property.
- Use programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical schematics to diagnose complex system issues efficiently.
- Maintain facilities equipment including HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, electrical panels, and building interior features.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents or property management to resolve issues effectively while providing excellent customer service.
- Keep detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential or commercial maintenance with a strong background in electrical work, plumbing, HVAC system repair, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, PLCs (programmable logic controllers), and electrical equipment repair techniques.
- Hands-on experience with maintenance painting, carpentry, facilities maintenance, and RMO (maintenance, repair & operations) tasks.
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently; experience with HVAC systems including troubleshooting and repair is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of plumbing system maintenance including leak detection and pipe repairs; experience with plumbing system repair is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with leadership skills to guide junior team members when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and effective interaction with residents and team members.
