About the Role
As a Controls Systems Engineer, you will lead the development of robust automation solutions by designing complex PLC-based control systems and electrical panels for material-handling infrastructure. You will play a pivotal role in translating high-level technical requirements into reliable, efficient control architectures that drive manufacturing performance.
Responsibilities-
Architect and document electrical control panels using AutoCAD to ensure seamless integration with industrial systems.

Optimize system performance by selecting programmable controllers based on precise I/O, memory, and project-specific requirements.

Ensure all motor and control circuit designs strictly adhere to UL 508A safety and quality standards.

Streamline production workflows by generating accurate bills of materials and comprehensive manufacturing documentation.

Provide technical oversight and troubleshooting support during the panel construction and field installation phases.

Collaborate cross-functionally with vendors and internal teams to align technical specifications with project goals.

Review and refine schematic layouts to improve system reliability and reduce field installation errors.
Qualifications-
Proven experience in electrical control panel design and PLC system architecture.

Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent industry-standard electrical design software.

Deep understanding of motor control circuits, I/O mapping, and memory allocation.

Demonstrated ability to interpret and revise complex electrical schematics and technical drawings.

Working knowledge of UL 508A compliance and industrial safety standards.
