Our company is growing, so we are expanding our staff and seeking Electricians/Lighting Technicians to join the Installation team.
Responsibilities and Duties
As a Lighting Retrofit Technician you will be responsible for upgrading and retrofitting lighting products safely and securely in customers' facilities. The ideal candidate will be reliable, possess their own form of transportation, tools (in some cases can be provided), a high level of professional customer service and have broad knowledge of lighting retrofit strategies. Must be able to pass a background check and work flexible hours.
Salary would be negotiable based on experience.
A Lighting Retrofit Technician will:
- Install lighting fixtures, lamps, ballasts, controls, or other items associated with lighting systems.
- Work from ladders, scaffolds, lifts, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures. Perform physically demanding tasks while conveying knowledge of basic/specialized tools and equipment throughout service job.
- Comply with AES safety policies.
- Understand and conform to Government/Local regulations and ordinances as well as any/all required Safety Guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-4 years of lighting and electrical experience preferred, not necessary. Willing to train the right candidate.
- Willingness to travel
- Must be reliable.
- Positive customer service skills
- OSHA 10
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
