Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Administrator to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions, medication administration via various routes, and specialized treatments such as botulinum toxin therapy.
- Perform advanced clinical procedures such as suturing, catheterization (including urinary and vascular), tube feeding management, and sterile technique application.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks to document patient care activities meticulously and ensure HIPAA compliance.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans involving case management, discharge planning, and collaboration with physicians specializing in areas like cardiology, ophthalmology, geriatrics, behavioral health, or trauma medicine.
- Conduct patient triage in urgent care or emergency room settings, prioritizing care based on acuity levels and critical response protocols.
- Support patients with complex needs such as those requiring dialysis, long-term care management, memory care for dementia or Alzheimer’s patients, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), with current state certification.
- Proven experience in acute care environments such as hospitals (including Level I & II trauma centers), ICU/CCU/PICU units, emergency medicine, or surgical settings.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms for accurate medical documentation.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and laboratory procedures.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics (memory care), neonatal resuscitation procedures (NRP), or hospice & palliative medicine.
- Ability to perform complex clinical tasks such as ventilator management, specimen collection/processing, phlebotomy, aseptic technique application, and infection control practices.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient assessment and education; ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
