FirstLight Home Care is seeking a reliable and experienced On-Call Caregiver to join our team in the Vancouver area. This position offers guaranteed 24 hours per week and is ideal for caregivers who enjoy variety, helping multiple clients, and being part of a supportive team.
Schedule
- Guaranteed 20 hours per week
- Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
- Must be available between 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Hours may vary within this availability window based on client needs
What You'll Do
As an On-Call Caregiver, you will provide coverage for client shifts throughout the Vancouver area. This may include:
- Personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Mobility and transfer assistance
- Meal preparation
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping
- Companionship and engagement
- Transportation and errands as needed
- Accurate and timely documentation
Requirements
- Active Washington HCA or CNA certification
- Minimum 1 year of professional in-home caregiving experience
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to travel throughout the Vancouver area as needed
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Dependable attendance and flexibility
