Position Summary
The Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) will serve as the designated pharmacist of record for licensing and regulatory purposes. At this stage, the hospital does not operate active pharmaceutical services. The PIC’s primary role is to meet state requirements for pharmacy licensure, and be listed as the responsible pharmacist with regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as pharmacist of record for the hospital’s pharmacy license.
- Review and sign pharmacy-related policies and procedures as required for licensing.
- Maintain availability for regulatory or surveyor inquiries.
- Provide professional oversight on paper until pharmacy services are activated in the future.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted pharmacist license in the State of Nevada.
- Eligible under state regulations to be designated as Pharmacist-in-Charge.
- No prior hospital pharmacy experience required, though regulatory familiarity is preferred.
Commitment
- Minimal ongoing time commitment; primarily administrative.
- Flexible arrangement suitable for pharmacists seeking a light oversight role.
Part time: 12 hours per week.
Pay: $80.00 - $85.00 per hour
