Job Summary
Magic Deli is looking for a friendly, dependable, and energetic team member to help create a fun and welcoming experience for our customers. Responsibilities include preparing sandwiches and other menu items, taking customer orders, operating the register, serving drinks, keeping food-preparation and dining areas clean, restocking supplies, and providing excellent customer service.
We’re looking for someone who works well with others, pays attention to detail, maintains a clean and organized workspace, and enjoys interacting with customers. Food-service experience is helpful but not required—we’re happy to train the right person.

Duties
- Prepare fresh ingredients and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications while maintaining quality standards
- Manage customer orders with enthusiasm, upselling additional items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including slicers, ovens, and refrigeration units
- Ensure food handling procedures are followed to meet health regulations and promote food safety
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service restaurant environments is a plus but not a requirement
- Operate the Square POS system to accurately and efficiently process customer orders, payments, and sales transactions.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
