To serve beer and wine, servers must be at least 19 years old (Idaho Law). Women-owned & LGBTQ+ friendly!!! Servers sell the restaurant's food and drinks, take payment, communicate orders with the kitchen staff, seat customers, use the point of sale system, provide customer service, and clean. You must be able to multitask taking care of dine-in tables and bag to-go orders. Insuring all items and sides make it into the to-go bags.
This job is part-time and will be around 8-18 hours a week (2), with the possibility for more shifts, depending on the restaurant needs that week. Some weeks may have an additional shift to accomodate time off requests. We are open Monday-Saturday. Our lunch shifts are 10am-4pm or 4:30pm, and Dinner shifts are 3:30pm-10pm. You must be able to work both lunch and dinner shifts.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS system
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations efficiently during transactions
- Multitask providing an excellent dine-in experience for tables and insure all to-go orders have all items at the same time.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met by following proper food handling procedures
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Take reservations
- Build positive guest relations through excellent communication, attentiveness, and hospitality skills
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, lobby stations, and service stations in accordance with sanitation guidelines
Pay: $17.00 - $29.00 per hour
