Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe and productive learning environment.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing and other evaluation methods.
- Provide individualized support to students who may require additional assistance in literacy education or special education.
- Incorporate learning technology into lessons to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and improve instructional strategies.
Experience
- Previous experience in tutoring or childcare is highly desirable.
- Experience working with students in an elementary school setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of literacy education strategies and standardized testing processes is beneficial.
