Position Summary:
The Data Analyst will provide dedicated analytical suppor t for Logistics Operations, ensuring continuity of critical reporting functions while delivering actionable insights that improve operational performance. This role will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing operational dashboards, reporting frameworks, forecasting models, and performance metrics used by leadership to drive data-based decision making.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in Tableau, Power BI, SQL, and Databricks with a solid understanding of logistics, supply chain operations, inventory management, and performance analytics. This role will serve as a key partner to operations leadership by transforming complex data into meaningful business insights that support operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Reporting & Dashboard Ownership
- Assume ownership of existing operational reports and dashboards.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance daily, weekly, and monthly performance reporting.
- Manage KPI scorecards and operational performance dashboards.
- Support executive reporting packages and leadership reviews.
- Ensure report accuracy, consistency, and data integrity across all reporting platforms.
- Establish reporting governance and standardization processes.
Business Intelligence & Data Visualization
- Design and build interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI.
- Develop self-service reporting solutions that enable faster decision making.
- Integrate multiple data sources to provide end-to-end operational visibility.
- Automate recurring reports to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
- Create executive-level visualizations that clearly communicate operational performance and trends.
Data Analysis & Operational Insights
- Analyze logistics, inventory, backlog, shipment, and delivery performance data.
- Identify trends, bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities within operational processes.
- Perform root cause analysis to support corrective actions and process improvements.
- Monitor and report on service-level metrics, inventory health, cycle times, and on-time delivery performance.
- Provide recommendations that drive cost reduction, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Forecasting & Planning Support
- Support capacity planning and forecasting activities.
- Develop predictive models and forward-looking operational insights.
- Analyze demand, inventory, and shipment trends to identify future constraints and opportunities.
- Assist leadership with scenario planning and business performance evaluations.
Data Management & Engineering Support
- Utilize SQL and Databricks to extract, cleanse, transform, and validate large data sets.
- Develop scalable data models to support reporting and analytical needs.
- Collaborate with IT, engineering, and business stakeholders to improve data accessibility and quality.
- Maintain data governance standards and reporting documentation.
Continuous Improvement & Strategic Projects
- Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and performance measurement.
- Provide analytical support for strategic business projects.
- Measure the effectiveness of process improvements and operational initiatives.
- Drive automation and reporting modernization efforts across the organization.
Required Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Statistics, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Master's degree is preferred.
Experience
- 2 to 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, operations analytics, or supply chain analytics.
- Experience supporting logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, semiconductor, distribution, or transportation operations preferred.
- Proven experience building executive dashboards and automated reporting solutions.
Technical Skills
- Advanced SQL development and database querying.
- Strong experience with Tableau dashboard design and administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI.
- Experience working with Databricks and modern cloud-based analytics platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Query, and data modelling techniques.
- Experience with ETL processes and data transformation.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and relational databases.
Analytical Skills
- Strong statistical and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Experience performing trend analysis, forecasting, and root cause investigations.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into meaningful reporting solutions.
- Skilled at presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within semiconductor manufacturing, finished goods logistics, or supplier-managed inventory environments.
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Experience with predictive analytics and machine learning techniques.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience developing KPI frameworks and operational scorecards.
