Full Time/Part time/PerDiem job openings for LPN/RN with a large family of 12 adults with disabilities. Presently looking for evening into overnight shifts. Shifts are 6pm to 6 am and may be flexible.
All candidates for employment are considered essential employees and must be able to work in all forms of inclement weather.
Our family has a wide range of disabilities including CP, MR, TBI, one ventilator, G-tubes, Trach's, total care, behavioral and intellectual disabilities. Training is available for job requirements.
*LPN/RN License Minimum 1 year job experience as LPN or RN preferred.
*Basic computer skills are mandatory.
*Ability to communicate effectively with Parents, Managers, family and staff
*Sign language is a plus but not mandated.
*Supervision of support staff is mandatory
Job duties included but not limited to:
- Work closely with Nurse manager and parents to ensure quality care and a safe environment for all members of the household.
- Monitor family members.
- Poor meds and administer meds treatments, do vitals, assessments.
- Setup feeds pumps and monitor.
- Monitor vent and medical equipment.
- Upkeep equipment
- Stock and order medical supplies and meds as required.
- Communicate effectively with doctors and suppliers
- Charting
- Report all concerns to the parents and nurse manager
- Accompany family members to appointments and outings
- Personal care as needed, ability to assist in transfers
- Supervise Support Staff
