Renaissance Montessori has multiple immediate openings at our location in Cary. We are seeking caring, dependable, and energetic Aftercare Providers to join our Montessori school team. These positions are Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 5:45 PM, working with children 15 months to 6 years of age. We will consider applicants who can only work three afternoons per week.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, nurturing supervision for children in a safe and engaging environment.
- Foster positive interactions while meeting the individual needs of each child.
- Assist with indoor and outdoor play, activities, and transitions.
- Tidy classroom and play areas throughout the afternoon.
- Clean and organize materials as needed.
- Close and prepare the classroom at the end of the day to ensure it is clean, organized, and ready for the following morning.
- Playground and classroom supervision
- Serving snack
- Professional interaction with parents.
Qualifications:
- Enjoy working with young children.
- Reliable, patient, and positive.
- Able to work independently while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
- Previous childcare experience is preferred but not required.
Renaissance is an authentic Montessori school located in Cary, NC. Our school serves children age 18 months through 6 years and has a strong Spanish language component. In this position you will be responsible for the welfare, safety, and happiness of between five and ten students.
The candidate must possess leadership skills, and demonstrate strong communication skills. Applicants will need to have an approach that is positive and energetic towards other staff, students, and parents. Applicants must also meet our school and state health requirements, including taking a TB test, and having immunizations.
