At Ball Homes, we're committed to creating great homes and great experiences. As a Warranty Service Technician, you'll be the person delivering warranty support to our new homeowners.
If you enjoy solving problems, working with your hands, and making someone's day better, this role gives you the opportunity to use a wide range of construction skills while working independently and directly with customers.
What You'll Do
No two days are exactly the same. You'll travel to homeowners' properties and complete warranty repairs.
Your work may include:
- Diagnosing and repairing roof and water leaks
- Repairing or replacing flashing, roofing, and siding
- Performing drywall repairs and finish work
- Completing trim carpentry and general carpentry projects
- Masonry repairs
- Fixing floor squeaks and slab-related issues
- Replacing windows and window sashes
- Demolition and reconstruction of damaged areas
- Basic plumbing repairs
- General home maintenance and warranty-related repairs
- Communicating with homeowners and ensuring repairs meet quality standards
What We're Looking For

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2–4 years of construction, maintenance, or related experience
- Working knowledge of roofing and residential construction
- Experience using power tools and carpentry equipment safely
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Positive attitude and professional communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Physical Requirements
This is an active, hands-on role that requires:
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, and climbing
- Heavy lifting
- Regular ladder work and balancing
- Driving between job sites
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay focused while working independently
- Ability to safely perform physical tasks in varying weather conditions
