An opportunity is available for a skilled professional with CT imaging expertise to support emergency room, inpatient, and outpatient services at a trauma level 2 setting. This position requires experience in advanced imaging environments and a strong ability to adapt in a fast-paced hospital environment. Schedule:
- Five 8-hour shifts per week
- 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
Qualifications:
- Valid ARRT (CT) certification required
- Active BLS certification required
- Minimum of two years of CT experience in a hospital environment
- Proficiency working with GE and Philips CT equipment
- Experience with imaging workstations is essential
- Prior experience supporting ER, inpatient, and outpatient units
- Adaptability and strong communication skills for a busy trauma center setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT scans for ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations
- Operate GE and Philips CT scanners safely and efficiently
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including radiologists, nurses, and physicians
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Monitor patient safety and respond promptly to emergent situations
- Follow infection control protocols and ensure patient comfort throughout scanning procedures
