Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Family Babysitter to provide attentive, nurturing, and reliable care for children of elementary school-age children. In this role, you will create a safe and engaging environment, support children’s developmental needs, and assist families with daily routines. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a positive experience for both children and their families, ensuring peace of mind for parents while promoting fun and learning for the kids.
Duties
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children during daily activities and outings
- Assist with age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical development
- Support children with homework or educational tasks for elementary school-age kids
- Help with transportation to activities or appointments using personal transportation assistance 3 days a week after school
- Communicate effectively with parents about daily activities, milestones, and any concerns
Qualifications
- Proven experience in babysitting or nannying for multiple children across different age groups
- Knowledge of child supervision best practices and safety protocols
- Certification in first aid and CPR from a recognized organization
- Experience working with children
- Strong understanding of childcare principles for elementary school-age children
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently through first aid skills
- Reliable personal transportation to assist with child outings or errands when necessary
