In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of commercial vehicles to transport freight efficiently and securely. Your expertise in driving different truck configurations, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized equipment, will ensure timely deliveries across diverse routes. Duties
- Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks to transport freight across designated routes
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment like forklifts or manual methods, ensuring proper handling and securement of freight
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, route details, and delivery documentation in accordance with federal and state laws
- Route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to safety protocols and traffic laws
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during transit
- Assist with loading or unloading freight when necessary, ensuring proper handling of sensitive or heavy cargo
Qualifications
- Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, or tankers
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type being operated
- Skilled in manual transmission operation and familiar with various truck configurations including flatbed and tanker trucks
- Experience with freight load & unload procedures and route driving logistics
- Ability to operate auxiliary equipment such as forklifts when required for loading or unloading cargo
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking operations and cargo securement standards
- Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections and documentation accuracy

Pay: $1,400.00 - $1,800.00 per week
