American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a GA or compact RN license, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications, with night shift scheduling and every-other-weekend requirements.

Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting

Night shift schedule: 7PM–7AM, 12-hour shifts

Every other weekend required

Floating to the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) as needed

Active Georgia or Compact RN license currently in hand

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS

Minimum 18 months of RN experience required

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local travelers are not eligible

Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning; if returning to the same facility, a minimum 18-month separation is required

RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days per contract; if RTO falls on or near a holiday, the maximum is reduced to 3 days

Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract, and consecutive days of RTO during holiday periods may not be approved
