Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems across various properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and safety standards are met. Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems in commercial and residential settings.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system calibrations, and preventative inspections to ensure system longevity and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems using tools like ohmmeters and welding equipment; conduct electrical testing and repairs as needed.
- Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems including pipe repairs, fittings, and ammonia refrigeration components where applicable.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs of repairs performed, parts used, and system performance reports.
- Operate a <PERSON> driver vehicle safely for transportation between job sites while adhering to all safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC service technician with a strong background in construction or property maintenance environments.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration) systems including refrigeration cycles such as ammonia refrigeration.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, boiler operation, appliance repair, welding, and general maintenance tasks.
- Ability to read schematics accurately and interpret HVAC design plans for installation or troubleshooting purposes.
- Field service experience demonstrating the ability to diagnose issues efficiently on-site under various conditions.
- Familiarity with plumbing systems related to HVAC setups; experience with refrigerants is highly desirable.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating a <PERSON> driver vehicle preferred.

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
