Job Summary
The AP/Cash Manager is responsible for overseeing all accounts payable functions and managing cash flow across multiple entities, including commission payouts, investor distributions, and scheduled intercompany and third-party transfers. This role ensures accurate, timely, and well-controlled movement of cash across a complex multi-entity structure.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable Oversight
- Manage and oversee the full AP cycle, including invoice processing, coding, approvals, and vendor payments across all entities.
- Ensure AP procedures maintain proper internal controls and segregation of duties.
- Review and resolve discrepancies, aging balances, and vendor account issues.
- Maintain vendor relationships and ensure timely, accurate payments.
Cash Management
- Monitor and manage cash positions across multiple entities and bank accounts.
- Prepare and maintain cash flow projections to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational, investment, and distribution needs.
- Coordinate and execute scheduled monthly and quarterly transfers between intercompany entities and to outside vendors.
Distributions & Commission Payouts
- Process and manage investor distribution calculations and payments on a scheduled basis.
- Oversee commission payout calculations, approvals, and disbursements.
- Ensure distributions and payouts align with governing agreements, fund documents, and approved schedules.
Team & General
- Supervise and support one direct report (Accountant), overseeing workflow and reviewing work product.
- Partner with accounting leadership on process improvements and automation of AP and cash workflows.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, with 2+ years in AP management and/or cash management.
- Experience managing multi-entity cash flow and intercompany processing.
- Strong understanding of accounting controls and payment processing.
- Proficiency with NetSuite, Salesforce, Excel, BILL, Divvy, Expensify, and Airbase.
- Fund accounting, intercompany accounting, and tenant property management accounting experience a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines across entities.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
