American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a day shift travel assignment in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit at a major medical center in New Orleans.

Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM)

Every other weekend coverage required

13-week contract

Epic EMR experience preferred
-
Current RRT credential required

Active state RT license required if applicable

Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required

Experienced RTs only — new graduates will not be considered

First-time travelers will be considered

Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers are not accepted

In the event of a declared emergency, travelers may be assigned to an Emergency Team and expected to remain at the facility until the event has passed or serve as part of a relief team

By accepting a position, candidates acknowledge and agree to emergency team assignment expectations as directed by their unit manager
