Duties
- Conduct regular pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and removing debris to maintain optimal water clarity and hygiene.
- Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as checking water levels, balancing chemicals, and inspecting filtration systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to repair or replace pool equipment like pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with pool systems and execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Maintain detailed service logs documenting work performed, chemical levels, equipment status, and any repairs needed or completed.
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and clients.
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding maintenance schedules, equipment needs, or repairs required.
Experience
- Prior experience as a service technician or in a similar pool maintenance role is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues with pool equipment and perform repairs confidently.
- Hands-on experience with pool cleaning techniques and routine maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency using hand tools and power tools necessary for equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with pool chemical balancing and water chemistry is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to follow safety guidelines diligently during all service activities.
