Our Monroe store is hiring a Cashier/Production Clerk who enjoys fast‑paced work, customer service, and hands‑on tasks all while contributing to a nonprofit mission that changes lives.
We are currently hiring a Cashier/Production Clerk at our Monroe St. Vincent de Paul Store.
Position Requirements:
- Cheerfully greet and provide friendly service.
- Energetically promote & increase sales.
- Ring up sales through POS (point of sale) register system.
- Stock and organize merchandise.
- Building professional relationships with both customers & staff.
- Maintain excellent attendance, punctuality, and flexibility.
- Assist in the production area by unloading donations from vehicles, sorting hard goods and clothing donations, pricing donations, and assisting with customers carry outs of mattresses, furniture, etc.
- Available some weekends.
- The person most qualified for this position will have strong organizational skills, the ability to move at a fast pace and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Cashier experience and knowledge of the value of used goods a plus.
All offers of employment are contingent on satisfactory results of a drug screening and background check. Must have a current driver's license.
Pay: From $19.77 per hour
