Motivate Recovery Center is an outpatient mental health and substance use disorder treatment center. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals working through dual-diagnosis challenges, trauma, and addiction. We offer a supportive, collaborative environment where associate therapists can expand their clinical skills, accumulate required licensure hours, and make a real impact in client recovery.
We are seeking a dedicated Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Clinical Social Worker (AMCSW), or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) to join our outpatient team. You will work directly with clients presenting with co-occurring mental health disorders and substance use disorders, providing intake assessments, individual and group therapy, and comprehensive treatment planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct clinical intake assessments, mental health evaluations, and diagnostic summaries for mental health and SUD clients.
Develop and update individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to dual-diagnosis recovery.
Facilitate individual, group, and family psychotherapy sessions focusing on mental health stabilization and addiction recovery.
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation (biopsychosocials, progress notes, discharge summaries) in compliance with state regulations and facility standards.
Actively participate in weekly clinical supervision and multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
Collaborate with case managers, medical staff, and external recovery support networks to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited university.
Active registration with the state licensing board as an AMFT, ACSW, or APCC in good standing.
Familiarity with evidence-based modalities for addiction and co-occurring disorders (e.g., CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Relapse Prevention, Trauma-Informed Care).
Knowledge of standard clinical assessments (e.g., ASAM criteria, DSM-5-TR) is a plus.
Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
