Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team with enthusiasm and strategic vision. Duties
- Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and staff management
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members to build a high-performing retail sales team
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills in sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement
- Manage payroll, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure accurate financial transactions
- Oversee purchasing, pricing strategies, merchandising, and inventory management to optimize stock levels and product presentation
- Monitor store performance through retail math analysis, budgeting, and sales management metrics to meet or exceed targets
- Foster a positive work environment by supervising shift schedules, conducting performance reviews, and promoting teamwork
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within the retail industry with a focus on sales team leadership and operational oversight
- Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Experience with inventory management systems, POS technology, cash handling procedures, and retail math principles
- Demonstrated success in retail sales management including merchandising, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and deliver exceptional customer service
- Supervising experience in a fast-paced environment such as grocery stores or wireless sales is preferred
- Organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and administrative tasks
- Leadership qualities that inspire confidence while fostering a collaborative team atmosphere
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently through effective time management and operational planning
