American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical position on a 4B Surgical unit at a high-acuity Level 1 trauma center, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience.

Position is on the 4B Surgical unit of a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
-
Patient population includes urology, gynecology, orthopedics, medicine, surgery, trauma, ENT, and vascular cases
-
Day shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
-
Travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
-
Block scheduling is generally not approved
-
Epic EMR experience is required
-
No on-call responsibilities

Active RN license — GA or compact license required

Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg specialty experience

Experience in high-acuity, high-volume hospital environments with complex and severe cases

Proven ability to manage critical, fast-paced trauma situations

Epic EMR proficiency required

Current BLS certification required

This facility is a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center handling complex and diverse cases — candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered

No RTO (requested time off) will be approved for this assignment
