AHC Communications Inc. is a rapidly growing telecommunications contractor looking for experienced Residential and Commercial Fiber Installers to join our team.
We are seeking dependable, motivated professionals who take pride in delivering quality workmanship and outstanding customer service. Whether you’re an experienced Fiber Technician or have worked in a related technical trade, we’d like to speak with you.
If you have experience in Fiber Optics, Cable TV, Satellite Installation, Telecommunications, Electrical, Structured Cabling, Security Systems, Alarm Systems, Low-Voltage Wiring, Networking, or similar installation trades, we encourage you to apply.
We offer multiple state opportunities with both local and travel assignments available.
Job Responsibilities
· Install residential and commercial fiber optic internet services.
· Install, terminate, and test fiber optic cable.
· Install customer equipment and activate services.
· Troubleshoot service issues and perform repairs.
· Read and complete work orders accurately.
· Maintain daily production and quality standards.
· Use company software to document completed work.
· Provide excellent customer service.
· Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
· Maintain a professional appearance while representing AHC Communications.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in one or more of the following:
· Fiber Optic Installation
· Cable Television Installation
· Satellite Installation
· Electrical
· Low-Voltage Wiring
· Structured Cabling
· Alarm & Security Systems
· Telecommunications
· Network Cabling
· Smart Home Installation
Applicants with experience in similar technical trades are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
Applicants must have:
· Reliable work truck, cargo van, or work vehicle.
· Basic installation hand tools.
· Smartphone or tablet capable of running company applications.
· Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
· Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
· Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
· Strong communication and customer service skills.
· Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Applicants must be able to successfully pass:
· Criminal background check
· Pre-employment drug screening
· Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
Travel Opportunities
AHC Communications has projects throughout multiple states.
Technicians interested in traveling will have opportunities to work on projects in various markets with additional earning potential depending on the assignment.
