Job Description
- Provide direct clinical care to individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, and dual diagnosis, to include assessment, on-going psychiatric treatment, medication management, and education to individuals regarding diagnosis and medications prescribed.
- Evaluate individuals for appropriate levels of care, to include involuntary commitment, as well as review of treatment plans and participation in clinical setting.
- Comply with ATC and client facility policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Current, unencumbered Georgia state Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) License
- Current, unencumbered Georgia state Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certification (can be obtained during orientation)
- Minimum of two years paid APRN work experience within the past year of direct patient care in a similar setting
- Master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
