Join Our Infant Team!
Tiny Treasures Early Learning Center is seeking a nurturing, dependable, and enthusiastic Full-Time Infant Assistant Teacher to join our team! If you have a passion for caring for babies and enjoy helping children reach important developmental milestones, we'd love to meet you.
Our Infant Program serves children 6 weeks through 24 months of age in a warm, supportive, and relationship-based environment where every child is encouraged to learn, grow, and thrive.
Duties
- Assist lead teachers in planning and executing age-appropriate lessons aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and social-emotional development.
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through responsive interactions and play.
- Engage children in educational activities that promote childhood development, including Montessori and toddler care techniques.
- Help supervise children during daily routines such as snack time, outdoor play, nap time, and transitions between activities.
- Assist with feeding, diapering, naps, and daily classroom responsibilities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that complies with health and safety regulations.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress and classroom events to build strong partnerships.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including childhood development and curriculum development.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families.
- Ability to implement lesson plans creatively while adapting to individual student needs.
- Experience with classroom management tools and techniques to foster a positive learning environment.
- Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for professional growth is essential. This full-time assistant teacher position is an excellent stepping stone for passionate educators eager to inspire young minds!
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
