Job Summary
The Director of Finance & Accounting is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and overseeing all accounting, financial planning, budgeting, reporting, payroll oversight, revenue analysis, and internal controls for SpineCenterAtlanta & Affiliates. This position serves as a trusted advisor to executive leadership by ensuring the organization's financial health, regulatory compliance, and long-term sustainability while supporting operational growth across multiple practice locations.
The Director will oversee the daily financial operations of the organization, develop financial strategies, lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives, manage audits, and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), healthcare regulations, and federal and state financial reporting requirements. .
Duties
- Lead all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
- Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and key business metrics.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, healthcare regulations, and internal controls.
- Coordinate annual audits and work with external auditors and financial advisors.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership.
- Oversee payroll accounting, financial policies, and treasury functions.
- Lead and develop the finance and accounting team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
- CPA required
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Healthcare, physician practice, or multi-site medical practice experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency with exceptional analytical and leadership skills.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
