Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Custodian/Janitor to join our team in Middleville, working Monday through Friday after 5 PM. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with janitorial, custodial, or facilities maintenance experience to contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will ensure that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, supporting the overall efficiency and appearance of our facilities.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and sanitizing restrooms and common areas
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, offices, restrooms, and other designated areas according to established standards
- Support facilities maintenance efforts by ensuring all cleaning supplies and equipment are well-stocked and properly stored
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, and sealing floors
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and safety standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
