Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Motorgrader Operator with GPS (Global Positioning System) expertise to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a motorgrader equipped with GPS technology to ensure precise grading and leveling of construction sites. Your expertise will help us achieve high-quality results efficiently, contributing to the successful completion of large-scale infrastructure projects. Duties
- Operate motorgrader equipped with GPS systems to perform accurate grading, leveling, and earthmoving tasks on construction sites
- Use heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, water trucks, and dump trucks to support various construction activities
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are maintained
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to interpret plans and specifications for grading and paving projects
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including measurements, progress reports, and equipment maintenance logs
- Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others
- Assist with other heavy equipment operations as needed, including horizontal drilling and tanker management
Requirements
- Proven experience operating motorgraders with GPS technology in a construction setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment such as Caterpillar graders, dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, water trucks, and dump trucks
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience in operating various types of heavy machinery
- Demonstrated ability to read construction plans and interpret technical drawings for grading and paving tasks
- Hands-on experience with horizontal drilling equipment or tanker operations is a plus
- Knowledge of construction site safety standards and best practices for heavy equipment operation
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy materials when necessary

Pay: $22.87 - $27.55 per hour
