Maintenance Technician Needed for Multifamily Property in Mission, SF

Full-Time | On-site
As a Maintenance Technician at The Madelon, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the physical integrity, curb appeal, and day-to-day upkeep of the property. You’ll work closely with the General Manager and service team to:

Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests with professionalism and courtesy

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems

Complete apartment turns and repairs to ensure timely, high-quality move-ins

Troubleshoot and resolve facilities issues with minimal disruption to residents

Assist with groundskeeping and cleanliness of common areas and amenities
-
Maintain a safe and organized maintenance shop and inventory

Support after-hours emergency maintenance response on a rotating schedule

Communicate clearly with the onsite team to report issues, delays, or safety concerns

2–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in residential, hotel, or multifamily settings
-
Strong working knowledge of building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair
-
Experience in luxury or high-end environments preferred

Positive, customer-first attitude with excellent communication skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting

EPA Certification or relevant trade licenses a plus

Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders, and be on your feet for extended periods

Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to property emergencies
$28–$33/hour (commensurate with experience)
