Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Weigh Specialist to accurately measure and prepare raw dry ingredients for production. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and experience operating a stand-up forklift.
Pay: $21–$23 per hour
Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 5:00 AM–5:30 PM (3 × 12-hour shifts)
Responsibilities
- Accurately weigh and prepare raw dry ingredients according to production and customer specifications.
- Measure ingredients precisely and follow written instructions and formulas.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and prevent cross-contamination.
- Keep scoops, weighing equipment, and other tools clean and properly maintained.
- Identify and report ingredient quality issues, including differences between ingredient lots or ingredients that may require sifting.
- Unload incoming shipments when needed and inspect products for damage or quality concerns.
- Store ingredients in their designated areas and properly segregate allergens.
- Maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices, including identifying lots that should be used first.
- Monitor ingredient inventory and report when supplies are running low.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and other departments.
- Follow all safety, quality, sanitation, and production procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience operating a stand-up forklift required.
- Forklift certification preferred or required, depending on experience.
- Ability to accurately measure and weigh ingredients.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds regularly.
- Ability to work independently and stay productive with minimal supervision.
- Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Able to read and write at a high school level.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Comfortable working in a production and warehouse environment.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
