Nurenberg Paris, one of Ohio’s most established plaintiff’s firms, is seeking a case manager to grow the Workers’ Compensation team and support our attorneys in advocating for injured workers across the state. For nearly a century, our firm has represented people, not insurance companies and our workers’ compensation practice is a cornerstone of that mission.
This is a great opportunity for someone with 1–3 years of law firm, paralegal, or workers’ compensation experience who wants to grow inside a respected, plaintiff-side practice. While this experience is preferred, it is not required.
What You’ll Do
- Open new workers’ compensation files and gather initial information from clients
- Request and organize medical records, wage statements, and IME reports
- Communicate regularly with clients, treating physicians, MCOs, employers, and BWC/IC staff
- Maintain accurate, well-organized electronic case files
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the workers’ compensation attorneys
What We’re Looking For
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable speaking with injured clients with empathy and patience
- Excellent organization and attention to detail. Working active files without dropping a deadline
- Proficiency with general computer use, Experience with case management software preferred; and/or quick to learn new systems
- Associate’s degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience preferred
- A team-oriented attitude and genuine interest in helping injured workers
